Our Team
MEGAN SARDIS is a medical student at the University of Miami Miller. She is originally from Bernardsville, New Jersey. She graduated from Yale College earning a B.A. in Global Affairs. Megan has been working with disabled children since she was twelve years old. She wants to continue giving back to this community for the rest of her life. Her other interests include orthopedics and psychology.
MARLEY MACAREWICH is a current law student at UC Berkley. While an undergraduate student at Yale, she studied chemical engineering and Spanish. She also works at a Wild West themed summer camp called Rawhide Ranch. She loves to read, spend time with friends and talk to people in the community. She hopes to one day become a patent lawyer.
CHRISTINE HO is a current medical student at Columbia University, and completed her undergraduate degree at Yale. She is originally from Bridgewater, New Jersey. Her interests include swimming, reading, and birds! She has also volunteered in the past with other campus organizations to read with kids in the New Haven area and engage them with science. Christine hopes to one day find a career that allows her to interact with and help all kinds of people.
CHARLIE UCHNO is Yale graduate from Bloomfield, Michigan. He earned his B.S. in Physics and Economics and ultimately hopes to start his own summer camp for children of all abilities. Since beginning high school, Charlie has volunteered in various schools and summer camps that serve children with special needs.
Fiona Li is a college student at UC Berkley. She is originally from New Haven, Connecticut, and loves working with children. She has experience as a teacher’s assistant, camp counselor and peer tutor. She is a swimmer, loves reading, taking walks, and cows! Fiona hopes to continue working with kids and giving back to the community in college and major in business.
KRISTEN SARDIS is a UPenn graduate from Bernardsville, NJ. She swam for ten years before going to college. She decided to start a chapter at Penn while in her undergraduate studies because teaching special needs kids how to swim and working with them was a part of her life since she was 12 years old. She really enjoys seeing the pure excitement on her swimmers’ faces when they accomplish a new goal.
